Here at A.E. Illustrations, I create garden designs in the North West of England that explore and visualise ideas for future outdoor spaces. Whether it’s your own garden, landscape, or planting scheme, I work with you to inspire, develop, and bring gardens to life.

Our journey starts with a friendly consultation. This is a chance to connect, talk through your hopes and ideas, and explore the unique character of your garden or outdoor space.

During this visit I’ll also carry out a survey of the site, so that the design is grounded in both inspiration and practicality.

Illustartions

Using hand-drawn and digital illustrations, I’ll create visuals that showcase the different ways we could shape and transform your garden. These drawings are not just plans — they’re an artistic window into the atmosphere, mood, and potential of your future space.

Final meeting

Here we walk through your tailored designs together. This is the most exciting stage — where the ideas come together, and you begin to see the full potential of what your garden can become.

About

The Human Touch

So, here I am.

My creative journey began with sketching dresses and fashion illustrations as far back as I can remember. This passion grew with my love of literature, photography, and culture, eventually leading me to study Fashion Design at the University of Leeds.

Translating fabrics and catwalks into soil and petals may seem unusual, but it felt natural to me. My early career brought me into the worlds of floristry, planting, and exhibition design — where I learned to craft, experiment, and share creations with others.

From there, my garden design career in the North West took root. I’ve developed planting schemes, outdoor spaces, and designed gardens across the region, learning how creativity and landscape come together to transform people’s homes and lives.

But at the heart of it all, I’ve always sought freedom and artistic expression. That’s why Abigail Elizabeth Illustrations was born.
